ANYTHING TO ANYONE WHO DOES NOT
THE BEING OF SILENT CORE
IS ONLY REQUIREMENT…
CESSATION OF THOUGHTS’ & WORDS’ VEILINGS
THAT ARE BEYOND BELIEF...
WHO REQUIRE BELIEFS
breath is the ocean
proof of God
do you require?
Let the One who
flow through your flesh
so that you
can make offerings
all day and night.
One cup spills
This endless play
of gift giving
is the work of the Master.
lost in the eloquence of silence."
Does it feel guilty about its fragrance?
Please, friend, never let anyone make you feel guilty
about being happy in this troubled world.
To be troubled is the nature of the world.
To be happy is the nature of your heart.
Happiness is not a privilege, but a birthright.
Your happiness costs the world nothing, is not extravagant,
exploits no one's labor, wastes no energy.
Yet its blossoming can heal the air, the water, the soil.
Your joy does not come from the world, yet it suffuses the world
with a secret light, and touches other hearts.
they demand and insist on a constancy of attention that is relentless.
in the silence that is
created by the dark.
Night... that melancholy time,
when the stars
remind us of the Silence of God.
setting aside the oppressive weight of our carefully
constructed version of who we think we are.
with our ears...
perceiving the Silence in
its holy echoing and resonance,
its calling forth a knowing that is
from the soul.
It guards the heart's fire
and teaches us to speak from within
with a language that is
imbued with the Sacred.
fly forth to lead us back to the Silence
from which they were born.
From - Silence: The Mystery of Wholeness
by Robert Sardello
The matter that makes up the food we eat every day
is given to us by the four elements – earth, water, air and fire.
We are thus nourished by particles of matter that come from space,
from the whole universe even.
They come to us filled with cosmic life,
and it is important for us to receive these particles
with the awareness that they will make up the substance
of our physical body and our psychic bodies.
We must therefore be extremely vigilant,
for not only is this food imbued with universal life,
it is also imbued with our words,
feelings and thoughts.
People who eat in an agitated state,
in a bad mood,
or while criticizing others,
infuse the food with poisonous particles,
and in eating them,
they poison themselves.
So thought also has a part to play during meals.
It is through thought
that we can introduce elements of light and eternity
into our food.
Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
The eye can only see the surface;
love can see much deeper.
All ignorance is the lack of love.
but when kindled, the illumination flame springs forth,
so it is with love.
but, when its fire is kindled
the flame that lights the path of the traveler
from mortality to everlasting life springs forth.
Bowl of Saki, June 18
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
for some new delight.
meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
