Our Nothingness is Divine Reality
Prayer takes place at the deepest level
of our person and escapes our direct cognition;
therefore we can make no judgment about it.

It is God's holy domain and we may not usurp it. 
We have to trust it utterly to God...

We must be ready to believe
that 'nothingness' is
the presence of divine Reality;
emptiness is a holy void
that Divine Love is filling.

To come into contact with
The One Who Is Not Busy,
we soften the specific focus
that we usually bring to our daily concerns
and start paying attention
not just to what furthers our goals
but to everything
inside us and around us.

Our perspective on life radically changes
when we have no concerns but being aware.

We get a chance to see how information
comes in through our senses
and
evokes thoughts and feelings.

​Our daily preoccupations drop away,
and we come to know what basic awareness is like,
before we put layers and layers of concerns on top of it.

If we pay close attention,
we can see quite clearly the process
by which we pile on those layers of concerns.

In other words,
when we are consciously aware of our bodies and the whole sensual environment around us,...

...we create for ourselves an opportunity to notice
what’s usually overwhelmed by our daily preoccupations.
