"Shadow Love..."

Don't try to cover things over with a pretense of love...
a shadow love.
Just let things be as they are.
Your responsibility is to be real, authentic -
maintaining integrity.
There is great healing in this.
Maintain your integrity through authenticity.

Go beyond the shadow of love...

Don't allow love to be a pawn, manipulated by the
fingers of delusion,
misdirected energies and perceptions.

Don't aspire to love - but aspire to be real.
Be clear and transparent.

When love is just a covering,
an egoic pretense, it dissipates.
Let love dissipate to reveal what's beyond
love's shadow...

Don't be fooled by the magician's love.

There is something beyond "love"
as we define love.
It is Presence.
Being genuinely present from the place
of authenticity...

Love is that Presence living us...

The mind is busy, talkative, restless.
Love is vast, silent, unconcerned.
I share here an imagined dialogue between love and the mind,

Love seems to hurt, because love is incredibly honest.
The mind screams… “I want your love.”

Love says… “I’m sorry, but you can’t,
because in order to want me,
you think I’m not already here.

Demanding, I show up in ways

Love… “It doesn’t matter,
I love you regardless,
I support you regardless,
I am always with the present moment,
so rest here.
Feel me.
And then see what happens.

This kind of Nature-wisdom we are only now beginning to discover

“Wetiko,” a Native American word, simply means “a diabolically wicked person or spirit who terrorizes others by means of evil acts.”(3) Levy names the collective psychosis as “malignant egophrenia” which he defines as a condition in which the human ego is estranged from the deeper Self.

The disease of “malignant egophrenia” (ME) is also the disease of industrial civilization, an economic, political, and social arrangement which requires violence to maintain itself. Every inhabitant of industrial civilization is infected with the ME disease, but Levy notes that “full blown” Wetikos “are not in touch with their own humanity and therefore can’t see the humanity in others.” (13)

The acronym, “ME” is certainly no accident because malignant egophrenia naturally causes psychic vision to focus on “me” and my needs rather than more broadly on the rest of the world in addition to me. When we are unwittingly victims and carriers of the ME disease, we perpetuate the collective psychosis and the phenomenal evil of which it is capable.

There is a well known Eastern legend giving the idea of a soul who had found truth.
There was a wall of laughter and of smiles.
This wall existed for ages and many tried to climb it, but few succeeded.
Those who had climbed upon it saw something beyond,
and so interested were they that they smiled,
climbed over the wall and never returned.
The people of the town began to wonder
what magic could there be and what attraction,
that whoever climbed the wall never returned.

So they called it the wall of mystery.
Then they said,
'We must make an enquiry and send someone who can reach the top,
but we must tie him with a rope to hold him back.'
