Plato relates the myth of the androgyne.

In the beginning, human beings had both male and female organs,
they were all both male and female,
​ and this double nature gave them capacities
such that the gods ended up feeling threatened.
To weaken them, Zeus, king of the gods, decided to cut them in half,
and from then on there were men and there were women.
This myth stresses that human beings' power
came from the fact they had both male and female organs. 
But despite this kind of mutilation,
humans nevertheless possess the two principles physically.
Yes, in their mouth:
their tongue is the masculine principle,
their two lips are the feminine principle,
and together they create a child: speech.​
​Speech gives them immense power.
Sometimes, just a few words are needed
to bring them the same results material means would.
Through speech they create and destroy,
gather together and separate,
restore peace or trigger war,
bring healing or disease.

A difficult paradox in the life of feeling
is that when we are most sensitive,
the heart is at its strongest.

 In life on earth as it is today,
no reasonable person would deny that money is useful.
But it is only in the material plane
that money is of any use.
In the psychic plane, in the spiritual plane,
you can do no good with money.
There, it is light you need,
light which is fluid gold.
If you love the light,
if you know how to attract it,
you already possess gold
in the spiritual plane.
The richer you are with such gold,
the better you are able to go
to the heavenly shops to ‘buy’
what you cannot find in any other shop:
wisdom, love, truth, infinity, eternity,
and so on.
This is why sages and initiates endeavour
to accumulate as much gold as possible
in the spiritual plane,
and they enrich themselves with
many qualities and virtues,
and subsequently
make others benefit from them.​
Earning money is of no great significance to them
– they are preoccupied only
with the minimum they need to live on –
but with their light,
they continue to attract
​ the gifts of heaven
and distribute them

Self-improvement is an oxymoron
designed to keep an illusion alive
by insisting that it keep improving.
Who is this “self”
and why does it need “improving?”
I’d like to keep learning and discovering
new wonders in the corners of my life.
I’d like to see more clearly

But I think for this to happen
I’ll have to stop tending to this self
and its demands for improvement.

Yes it does feel as if we are in a fog
especially in normal situations as we don't exactly fit in.
​
Just the the other day I went into an auto store so they could plug my tire
which I walked in with the whole thing in my arms dressed in bright hot pink Harlem Cotton pants and vibrant Manuel Canovas top
which I thought would make me dressed for town.

Well by the time the young fellows and I connected
at the service repair desk talking on free diving
they fixed for free and carried the tire out..

now here is the thing..this is a huge vast automotive store
with lots of quiet people all about and I felt as if I was in a miniature box
and there was not enough room for me..

...so subsequently things just started to fall off their shelves
anywhere surrounding me while trying to leave like a mini hurricane
surrounded my aura and I kept saying oops
and then finally just grinned
while things fell in my wake behind me..

Man..it was like that movie, Stephen King, Carrie !
Intense..

Also the fog as we get older does exist.
Multitasking gets harder...

If you try to be aware, you cannot be aware.
People are always mistaking mental alertness for awareness.
Mental alertness will enhance your ability to survive better.
You can survive better with mental alertness but that is not awareness.
Have you noticed at different times of the day
you are in different levels of awareness?
Hmm?
So it can be heightened.
What is needed for survival naturally happens.
Even when it comes to survival mode,
not every individual is alert to the same extent.
If you heighten this awareness continuously,
a point will come it’s… where it’s no more about survival;
something that is not needed for your survival
will also come into your awareness.
When that comes into your awareness –
that which is not needed for your survival
is bound to be a dimension beyond the physical.

So when that comes into your living experience of life,
you’re on,
very simple.

The below "last photos" of today have many blank blue screens...all shots with the camera hopefully focused on an amazing amount of gathering gulls above my head and/or close in other directions....we simply did NOT get most all of them to show in the photos...am Sensing to leave the blank slides as Pause Times for each to Still and LIsten for what the Inner Voice might be Saying...and/or what those birds come to say.....high in the sky and some very low.

Totally unusual now for so many gulls to be on the beach
like they were this morning...
..... 25 years ago and before.... the flocks were greater...but have gradually dwindled......
