Neutral does not express opinions.
It does not resist, complain,
react or judge.
It ‘observes’.

If you are driving a stick shift automobile
in either forward or backward,
and then shift into ‘neutral’
the car will continue moving for a while
due to the already existing momentum.
This is true of your life experiences as well.

In the neutral position of non-reaction … of observation,
you will still experience some of the momentum
of a given situation,
but you will NOT be adding to it.

The Dog Innately Knows "NEUTRAL" he was VERY STILL....watching me as i returned from sunrise beach...

In spiritual terms
you will not be creating more karma
with which to express the same ‘type’
of experience again.

This is saying YES to ‘What IS’.
This means that the ‘conditioning’
that defines the false-self-identity
[attachments, expectations and identifications]
is NOT being ‘Expanded’
… it is being witnessed or observed
as something which is
NOT who you are.

The false self will complain
that this is boring or not living
because it requires constant ‘involvment in activity’
in order to ‘feel’ alive despite its roller coast ride
between happiness and sorrow.

The addiction to this constant ‘ride’
must burn out before ‘Neutral’
becomes ‘consistently’ appealing, ...

.....but there is no need to force it
your Freedom is inevitable
because that ‘is’
Who You Really Are.

a kind of happy light
falling on the envelope
as I sat by the rose tree
on her old bench
at the back door,
so surprised by its arrival
wondering what she would say,
looking up before I could open it
and laughing to myself
in silent expectation.

Dear son, it is time

constantly comes into being ‘as’ your reality.

Without your attention … on anything,
there ‘is’ no world – no dream.
What then is left, what remains?

Emptiness or Nothing-ness
is the Natural state in which Truth resides …

There is nothing to ‘fix’ … not in your own life,
humanity’s or the world itself.
Nothing is out of order.

Can a dream be somehow wrong?
It comes in brilliant Light or shadowed darkness but remains ‘only’ a dream.
Your body, your mind, your life experience … is all a dream.
It is not wrong, and you are NOT wrong … you are simply dreaming.
No matter how you tweak your dream
[try to fix yourself and the world],
it is still just a dream.

When you have had every dream experience [several times],
as if you had watched every movie ever produced,
the allure will have faded and the mind
that projected each dream-experience will also have dissolved
along with the person you call you.

This point of saturation arises for everyone
[who are also aspects of the grand dream] …
‘YOU’ are the only ONE there is
despite enormous evidence to the contrary.

As these words are written,
it is YOU who writes them.
Even ‘surrender’ is NOT a choice
but an inevitable aspect of the dream
that tells you dream stories about ‘free will and control’.

You ‘are’ God or ONE or Pure Conscious Awareness – NOW
… the dream you dream cannot change that.

There ‘is’ no possibility of you being
somehow ‘left out’ of this eventual Awareness.

When you at last become fully Aware of this single Truth,
your sojourn within the dream will become softer,

SILENCE, STILLNESS, PEACE

My home is very near a busy road,
But Sitting in its lush garden,
The din and clamor, so close by,
While deemed by some, disruptive,
Is to me a Reminder that Silence,
Has naught to do with sound.

For hearing the myriad notes of Life,
Whether melodious or dissonant,
Within, my Soul’s attention is elsewhere,
Intoxicated at The Tavern of The Beloved,
Where Enraptured, it cups its ears and asks,
“Hmm, did you say something?”

My mind moves in continuous thought,
But Resting within myself,
The flow of words and images,
While deemed by some, a distraction,
Is to me a Reminder that Stillness,
Has naught to do with movement.

For as thoughts and images flow,
Whether pleasurable or discordant,
Within, my Soul’s attention is elsewhere,
Entranced by the Face of The Beloved,

Like all matter, that of our physical body is subject to time, and it wears out.
This is what we call growing old, and we all grow old,
which, of course, is not particularly pleasant.
But we are not just a physical body,
and if the wear of the body is in the natural order of things,
internally, nothing forces us to grow old with it.
Therefore,
instead of becoming upset about the physical manifestations of age,
humans should be concerned
with nurturing that which always keeps them young and alive:
their heart.

It is their heart, their capacity to love, not their body,
that makes humans young or old,
and if their heart ages, it is because they allow it to.

How so?
By losing their love for people and things,
by losing their curiosity and their interest for the life
that abounds all around them,
the rich and abundant life of the universe.

But if they strive to feel this life,
if they seek to participate in it,
to introduce it into themselves,
they will not grow old.

In your own words, you testify to a sudden openness
of the self without a reference point or a long spiritual search.
What were the circumstances of this awakening?
It took only that one moment
to see that all that I thought I was, I am not.
I discovered by myself my true nature,
and since then
I am in a state of profound amazement.

Can you describe what you felt
during this instant when awakening happened?
An absolutely powerful obviousness that took over
everything that I thought I was.
A power that overtook the three states
(wakefulness, sleep and dream)
and all that they contain
This is the most potent power in the universe.
SILENCE HEALS.
My vision has changed completely.
It is no longer me who sees with the eyes of my body
but it is silence that sees.

And even if, from time to time,
a thought appears, it's so sweet...
She makes you light.
There is no separation.

Everything is in fusion with everything else.
My body, my feeling, is what's closer,
but it's fused with everything else.
It's in the background.
This constant presence prevents you
from falling into the trap of complicity with your own thoughts...
so even less with those of others.

What is going to be done, in the moment,
will be,
will be said,
but it will not be the result of a knowledge,
an understanding.

It's that silence that knows.
It is the one who's doing it.
You let this fluidity act.
It was always here, even when you didn't perceive it.
It is here before everything that can appear at every moment.

It is the one who allows you to live what is.
You don't need to think your life.

It is this presence that allows the world to appear.

I don’t know what to call it, LaoTse didn’t either.
He chose to call it Tao.
Ineffable works, but doesn’t quite have the sweet ring I am looking for.
Calling it God causes too many complications.
I would prefer not to call it anything if can help it,
because there is no name it can be given.
I remember Tom Sawyer’s advice to Becky Thatcher

What I do know,
is that one day,
with great joy and relief,
we find the government of this Unknowable Something
and we let go the need for the government of man and religion.

We find for ourself this Wonderful Ineffable Isness–
and we realize it is so much greater
than any human political system or religion can ever conjure up.

This Ineffable Isness all that is,
it is absolute and real and it shows us what love is.
It guides us with an Intelligence that transcends
the limited precepts we have been conditioned to accept as true.

We find the real government of Something Nameless –
and the government of man and religion loses its power.

We change the inside and the outside will change,
one by one, as we live it.
The Light is here and available to us all.
It is right here, within ourself.

it is NOT about an individual person called ‘you’ becoming Free.

It ‘has’ no IDENTITY of any kind because it is Empty.

it knows what it needs to know in the moment of It’s need.

There ‘is’ no ‘you’ …
there is only the SELF – ONE.

Lack of Awareness of this alone
is what has caused the grand dream
and the return to that Awareness

Pure Consciousness Awareness [ONE or God]
is naturally ‘Balanced, Perfect, Pure, Empty’.

When IT sleeps to this Truth
IT believes in a concept called separation
and seems to fragment IT SELF
through a projection on the screen of Consciousness
in a myriad of illusionary forms,
which it seems to enter as IT dreams IT ‘is’ each of these individual entities …
some of which are called humans.

As this occurs there is a constant ‘pull’ back Home
to the full Awareness of Who IT Really Is.
This is called the ‘Divine Discontent’,
which eventually becomes
the pathless-path ‘out’ of the dream.

No matter how deep or dark the dream becomes
for each splinted ‘God-entity’ this powerful ‘pull’
is always calling IT Home.
IT cannot ever actually be ‘lost’
and therefore does NOT need to be ‘saved’
as has been taught for thousands of years by many belief systems
… because, IT is only dreaming …
no matter how ‘real’ that dream may be.

IT only needs to be Awakened ‘from’ the dream to return Home.

This Awakening is in full throttle Now
as countless individual sleeping God-SELVES
have become and are becoming ‘aware’ that they have been dreaming.
In most cases they are NOT Home yet,
but they ‘are’ aware on some level
that their life experience and the world they live it in
‘is’ a dream.

The error that occurs at this stage for most ‘awakening’ ones
it to somehow try to ‘fix’ themselves
because they have not fully comprehended
that their dream body-mind is NOT real and ‘cannot’ be fixed.

The direct route Home is to ‘surrender’ their dream fully
to the Pure Conscious Awareness they ‘are’
and IT will shine the Light on the pathless-path
‘out of’ the dream.

“Not my will but YOUR WILL be done” is one way.
If you are sufficiently frustrated with the dream …
your life will shift dramatically.

At the core of not-knowing

At times it will appear that nothing is happening,
which can lead to a framing that we are “stuck,”
“not doing it right,”
or “lost in some sort of ‘low vibration.’”
The mind has a nearly unlimited capacity to fantasize,
especially in ways that enact early patterning of shame,
self-abandonment,
and misattuned empathic failure.

There is profound wisdom and creativity in the core of not-knowing,
in slowness, in patience, and in rest,
but we must retrain ourselves to receive that level of revelation.

But before we turn from the non-conventional allies of confusion and doubt,
