Self is an Obstacle to Clear Vision

In the now-moment the self never arises;
nothing calls upon it to do so.

When merely tinted by the sense of presence,
of animated consciousness,
it is the impersonal witnessing.

When it remains in its pristine purity,
untainted and untinted in primal repose,

Understanding the Unreality of Matter

…The basic source of bodily existence is prana (life energy)…
Pranayama, + life-energy control.

Through pranayama the adept is able to control the life energy
in the sensory and motor nerves,
