PLEASE DO NOT FORGET WHO YOU ARE
The breath is coming in and out now,
whether you believe you are worthy of it or not.
She is holding you whether you believe you deserve to be held or not.
Rest in her presence.
usually much sooner than we’d all like.
Breathe deeply now.
Breathing is only now.
There is no “breathing in the future.”
maybe you have lost hope,
you’re confused, your heart is broken,
or an old dream has died.
Or even if you’re experiencing some joy, some peace,
if things are going okay.
It is not an ordinary moment.
It is never ordinary inside your heart.
is that we will be returned to the vastness soon.
Let us not forget what is most important,
never apologize for the yearning in our hearts,
and not wait any longer to be fully here.
our emotions, our vulnerability, our bodies, our sensitivity.
With the sun, the moon, and the stars as our witness,
we will no longer pathologize pure feeling
and the longing that has been placed inside us.
like a flower who cannot hold back any longer from erupting with color,
with fragrance, with life, with her song.
You are this flower.
Attune to what is truly happening here.
This world needs you now more than ever.
Please don’t forget what you are.

AFTERNOON................
in a soul-filled and soul-strengthening manner
is a powerful act of wildish spirit.
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype
The rivers flow not past, but through us,
thrilling, tingling, vibrating every fiber and cell
of the substance of our bodies.
~John Muir

you can do to intervene in a stormy world
is to stand up and show your soul.
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés
of filling and emptying the red vase in her belly,
a woman understands physically, emotionally,
and spiritually that zeniths fade and expire,
and what is left is reborn in unexpected ways
and by inspired means,
only to fall back to nothing,
and yet be reconceived again
in full glory.
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype
walks in to a shed and sees a snake coiled in the corner.
Fearful, he runs away.
Later, with a mind cooled of fears, he returns to the shed.
There he sees that the snake is just a rope, coiled up in the corner.
….once we perceive things as they really are,
such as perceiving the rope to really be just a rope,
our fear and suffering can cease.
Once we are no longer ignorant and instead have a true knowledge of things,
there is no need to be afraid and we can continue on our way.
The reason for this is that true knowledge will tell us
that all things are transitory,
coming from nothing and returning to nothing.
Things maybe real, but all is merely illusions.

Sentient beings, self and others,
enemies and dear ones—all are made by thoughts.
It is like seeing a rope and mistaking it for a snake.
When we think that the rope is a snake, we are scared,
but once we see that we are looking at a rope, our fear dissipates.
We have been deluded by our thoughts.
Likewise, mentally fabricating self and others,
we generate attachment and aversion.
