BE DANCED WITH ALL THAT IS
– I’m saying this is how it is when love transforms itself into devotion.
If you fall in love, you become vulnerable,
but there are still some shreds of sanity in love affairs – you can recover.
But if you become a devotee,
there is no sanity left and you cannot recover.
just because you have ascribed yourself to a certain religion,
creed or whatever.
A devotee cannot ascribe himself to anything,
he is just drawn.
you must see whether you are ready for it or not.
What are your goals, first of all?
If your goal is to make life a quotient,
a very measured love affair is good.
if you want to dissolve into the process of life,
if you want to become an explosion of life,
if you don’t care what you get and what you don’t get,
then you become a devotee.
If you stick to the classical form of yoga,
over a period of time, your breath will become slow.
There are very poetic expressions for this.
you understand the language of every animal and bird around you.
If your breath becomes nine,
you understand the very language that the Earth is speaking.
If your breath becomes seven,
you know everything that is worth knowing in existence.
it just perceives everything.
Even now, the body perceives –
otherwise you could not exist.
As long as you live, your body is adjusting to all that.

The primordial consciousness that flows in the central channel is the energy/awareness of nonduality. It represents the resolving of all karmic polarities (and so a withdrawal of all projections) -- a state of bodymind which wakes up the dormant circuitry of which embyonic breathing is one manifestation.
Mantak Chia & Nan Huai-Chin On Embryonic Breathing
The following passages, by Nan Huai-Chin and Mantak Chia respectively, offer additional insights into this rather mysterious
(though completely natural!)
phenomenon of Embryonic Breathing.
Please note, especially, Mantak Chia’s point that
Embryonic Breathing is not something
that we can “make happen” or “will to happen.”
Rather it simply “happens by itself, when conditions are right.”
