THE TRANSPARENT CONDUIT CONDITION
ALL THAT IS LISTENS…
…EACH UNDERSTANDS ACCORDING TO
ITS ABILITY TO HEAR ORIGIN’S CALL
I think a river understands me.
For what does it call itself in that blessed moment when it starts emptying into the Infinite Luminous Sea, and opening every aspect of self wider than it ever thought possible?
Each drop of itself now running to embrace and unite with a million new friends.
And you were there, in my union with All,
everyone who will ever see this page.
Accept what comes.

Above & More excellent quotes re: Surrender here:
is a famous Zen practice--
it conveys the truth of our human incarnation.
Not knowing and acting anyway,
with a playful and caring heart,
you cede control of the outcome and willingly
cast your unique spirit into the mystery.
With this freedom comes joy, playfulness,
forgiveness and compassion for yourself and others.
You can enjoy even the mistakes;
they are part of the game.
Then you can act with your best intentions,
all the while recognizing you cannot control the results.
that it echoes every groan, of human beings so tied together
by common needs and fears
that a twitch at one wrist jerks another,
where however strange your experience
other people have had it too,
where however far you travel in your own mind
someone has been there before you --
is all an illusion.
let alone the souls of others.
Human beings do not go hand in hand the whole stretch of the way.
a snowfield where even the print of birds’ feet is unknown.
Here we go alone, and like it better so.
Always to have sympathy, always to be accompanied,
always to be understood would be intolerable.
where man has not trodden,
is visited by the cloud,
kissed by the falling petal,
as, in another sphere,
it is the great artists,
the Miltons and the Popes,
who console not by their thought of us
but by their forgetfulness.
by weather or fatigue, by food and drink,
or any laws you made it serve before.
You need do nothing now to make it well,
for sickness has become impossible.
If you let your mind harbor attack thoughts,
yield to judgment,
or make plans against uncertainties to come,
you have again misplaced yourself,
and made a bodily identity which will attack the body,
for the mind is sick.
Give instant remedy should this occur
by not allowing your defensiveness to hurt you longer.
22 I have forgotten what I really am,
for I mistook my body for myself.
Sickness is a defense against the truth,
but I am not a body.
And my mind cannot attack.
So I can not be sick.
as you get closer to the truth,
you experience more headaches, drowsiness,
hunger, asthma attacks, stomach pains,
back aches, nausea,
or other kinds of bodily distress.
The ego will set up all kinds of defenses to protect itself against the truth.
It is threatened by truth and wants to remind us that we are bodies.
rooted in the body, which the ego sees as its home.
As long as we are identified with the body,
we are aligned with the ego.
not your effort to be free.
