When you are sure you are on the right path,
let nothing convince you to turn back,
especially not the opinions of others.
Do not forget that above there are other beings who have sent you here,
who watch over you, and who assess your conduct.
Those who attach such great importance to public opinion
that they neglect the opinion of heaven prove
they have not understood what is essential in life.
Sometimes, in your desire to serve the forces of good and of light,
you can trigger very negative reactions.
Those around you – or your family – may be annoyed
that you do not consider their opinion,
that you prefer the approval of great masters of light.
Make every effort to maintain good relations with those around you,
but at the same time,
persevere in the direction you know to be the best.
Sooner or later the others will have to recognize that,
in spite of appearances,
you were right to choose the path of light.

AFTERNOON........
Especially now that I am 82,
when I dance with tree, or ocean, or wind,
I feel transposed.
It takes me to
a place beyond life, beyond death.
And it helps me to accept death, and that's a big one for me-
to feel a way to look at death as a cycle of life.
I find that transformative quality
when I relate to the natural environment.
I can't explain why,
but it's a partnership
that changes my consciousness.

it was possible for spiritual life to deepen.
Sensitive people who were used to a rich intellectual life
may have suffered much pain
(they were often of a delicate constitution),
but the damage to their inner selves was less.
They were able to retreat from their terrible surroundings
to a life of inner riches and spiritual freedom

Some will tell you that fear is the opposite of love. And in this teaching the war begins.
But love has no opposite. It is whole and without division. Love is the field in which all form comes and goes, including the temporary, wavelike appearance of fear. It is the vast, tender space in which all thoughts, feelings, and sensations arise, play for a short while, and then dissolve.
Just like passing clouds could never taint the purity of the sky, the temporary dance of fear could never stain the majesty of what you are.
Unlike the density of the conceptual, love has no bias for the appearance of courage over fear, multiplicity over oneness, or clarity over confusion. All experience is welcome as valid and as a portal into presence. Everything is path, including the raw, immediate, somatic experience of fear, if it is not abandoned, rejected, and made into an enemy via spiritual theory.
In this embrace, a great mystery can be revealed: there is no suffering inherent in the direct experience of fear, but only in the movement away from it, in its invalidation, and in the conclusion that it is an error which must urgently be remedied.
Fear is a temporary visitor in the nervous system, longing to be known, integrated, and metabolized in the wholeness that you are. It is not an enemy to enter into imaginary spiritual battles with. Call off the war and set aside the pain of a spirituality of aggression.

All planes of existence consist of vibrations, from the finest to the grossest kind; the vibrations of each plane have come from a higher one, and have become grosser. Whoever knows the mystery of vibrations, he indeed knows all things. ... From the scientific standpoint, spirit and matter are quite different from each other, but according to the philosophical point of view they are one. Spirit and matter are different, just as water is different from snow; yet again they are not different, for snow is nothing other than water. When spiritual vibrations become more dense they turn into matter, and when material vibrations become finer they develop into spirit.

The standard of right and wrong, the conception of good and evil, and the idea of sin and virtue are understood differently by the people of different races, nations, and religions; therefore it is difficult to discern the law governing these opposites. It becomes clear, however, by understanding the law of vibrations. Every thing and being on the surface of existence seem separate from one another, but in every plane beneath the surface they approach nearer to each other, and in the innermost plane they all become one. Every disturbance therefore, caused to the peace of the smallest part of existence on the surface, inwardly affects the whole. Thus any thought, speech or action that disturbs peace is wrong, evil, and a sin; if it brings about peace it is right, good, and a virtue. Life being like a dome, its nature is also dome-like. Disturbance of the slightest part of life disturbs the whole and returns as a curse upon the person who caused it; any peace produced on the surface comforts the whole, and thence returns as peace to the producer.
