IS THE ABSOLUTE
UNWAVERING REQUIREMENT NOW
MORE SO THAN EVER HERETOFORE
THE ONLY REALITY THAT IS REAL
AND ALL OF LIFE BECOMES THAT
“older than God”*
The Tao is like a well:
used but never used up.
It is like the eternal void:
filled with infinite possibilities.
It is hidden but always present.
I don't know who gave birth to it.
It is older than God.*
Tao Te Ching, #4

RAREFIED BECOMES RAREFRIED
There is only one state.
When corrupted and tainted by self-identification,
It is known as an individual.
When merely tinted by the sense of presence,
Of animated consciousness,
It is the impersonal witnessing.
When it remains in its pristine purity,
Untainted and untinted in primal repose,
It is the Absolute.

the primal, primordial, ancient
Stay close to what is here now, even if what is here is flat, numb, confused, and devoid of hope. For these are special allies of the path and able to open places inside you that happiness, peace, and clarity cannot reach.
The mystery is always alive around you, taking form as signs, symbols, and guidance for the journey ahead. But the timeline is not of the known, and is crafted in the oceans, the sun, the moon, and the stars.
The shaky aliveness is all the evidence you need that you are right on track.
While the longing for resolution may burn within you, you are not broken, you are not unhealed or untransformed.
You are not a project to be fixed.
Lay your hands on your heart.
Breathe deeply from your lower belly.
Open your senses and listen carefully to the invitation
as it arrives in a thundering silence:
today may not be a day for answers
but to finally let your heart break open to the vastness of the question.
I am rare.
I am the standing ovation
At the end of the play.
I am the retrospective
Of my life as art
I am the hours
Connected like dots
Into good sense
I am the fullness
You think I am waiting to die…
But I am waiting to be found
I am a treasure.
I am a map.
And these wrinkles are
Imprints of my journey
Ask me anything.

under all the psychological weather,
there is a place of stillness that is immune to our submitting and resisting.
When we can put down all our reasons and excuses,
it's from this inner plateau of being
that we begin to experience life directly again.
This sense of utter being doesn't come from willfulness or determination.
nakedly touches the common center of all life.
When life-force enters us directly and moves through us completely,
our authority of being can't be denied.
