4:14 AM-2/12/20
When you have no preferences...
when all ’for’ and ’against’ attitudes are absent,
both love and hate are absent,
you neither like something nor dislike something,
you simply allow everything to happen...
... EVERYTHING BECOMES CLEAR AND UNDISGUISED.
MAKE THE SMALLEST DISTINCTION, HOWEVER,
AND HEAVEN AND EARTH ARE SET INFINITELY APART.

Hsin Hsin The Book Of Nothing
I am always reluctant to use the word "God",
because everybody seems to carry around
their own stagnant images and definitions
that totally cloud the ability to step outside
a narrow individual frame of reference.
certainly it should be changing and expanding
as we ourselves grow and change.
to expand, to open up and blossom.
Like flowers that will turn completely backward to face the light, sometimes we too must do an about-face
if we would see what IS.
must wait like the flower for the morning sun,
and with no effort or resistance,
be pulled in the direction of the light.
we cannot define or qualify it because the brain
is incapable of processing this kind of data.

AFTERNOON
and all the way to heaven is heaven.
–Catherine of Siena
where the bird flies is the path.
The fish has no path in water;
wherever it swims is the path.
–The Upanishads
Than the going beast
Marking the earth with his track.
(As is only right). The beast
Where he no longer is
(And is therefore no use)
Marks that he was there before
(Which is also no use).
Nature, since the nature of yesterday
Is not nature.
What has been, is nothing.
Remembering
Is failure to see.
To move on.
