UNFETTERING THE SOUL
FREED TO BE TRUTH OF ORIGINAL BEING
BEYOND WORDS & THOUGHTS
THE GREAT SILENCE PREVAILS
ew
12:37 AM-7/11/20
And whenever you feel death close by,
go into it through the door of love,
through the door of meditation,
through the door of a man dying.
And if some day you are dying
— and the day is going to come one day —
receive it in joy, benediction.
you will attain to the greatest peak,
because death is the crescendo of life.
Hidden in it is the greatest orgasm,
because hidden in it is the greatest freedom.
Death is making love to God, or God making love to you.
Death is cosmic, total orgasm.
they are dangerous.
They make you antagonistic
to the greatest experience
that you need to have.
Unless you have learned how to die,
you will go on being born again and again and again.
This is the wheel, samsara, the world.
then there is no need; you disappear,
and you remain
in that orgasm forever.
you don't remain as an entity,
you don't remain defined,
identified with anything.
You remain as the whole,
not as the part.
and this is Buddha's unspoken message,
the unspoken word.
They are both the same.

AFTERNOON
Once I begin, once I try --
here and now,
right where I am,
not excusing myself
by saying things
would be easier elsewhere,
ostentatious gestures,
but all the more persistently
-- to live in harmony
with the "voice of Being," as I
understand it within myself
I suddenly discover,
to my surprise, that
I am neither the only one,
nor the first,
nor the most important one
to have set out
upon that road.
or not depends entirely on
whether or not I am lost.

with its wheat grain, moving between huge stacks
of wheat, not knowing the abundance
all around. It thinks its one grain
is all there is to love.
This body, one path, one teacher.
Look wider and farther.
and what that essence-eye takes in,
the being becomes. Saturn. Solomon!
and you might say it swims inside
the fish! This mystery gives peace to
your longing and makes the road home home.
